FCCLA stands for Future Community and Career Leaders of America. This is a club for helping the community. To be a member of FCCLA, you are required to have been previously enrolled in a FACS class or currently in one. For the month of September, FCCLA is doing a clothing drive which helps collect warm clothes for those who may need it in the winter cold. They accept everything from coats, socks, hats, and anything to keep the kids warm during the winter time.

FCCLA has new things each month that they do to help people in need. For the month of October, they get to dress up in costumes and give candy to the kids. For December, they get to babysit kids so their parents can have fun for the holidays! They do a lot of very special and fun things for the community! My favorite part about the club is how much they help people.

If you are someone who is interested in helping the community while also having fun come see Mrs. Smith before or after school and she would be more than happy to have you part of this club! You won’t regret it!
