Grandview R2 Invitational

On April 14, the PHS track team traveled to Hilsboro to compete in the Grandview R2 Invitational. Both the boys and girls team earned 2nd place, the boys having 108 points and the girls having 114 points.
In the 4×800, the girls team placed 1st and the boys placed 3rd. In the 100/110 hurdles, Anita McCaul placed 1st, Landon Sprouse 2nd, and Jarren Cross 4th. In the 4×200, the girls team placed 3rd and the boys got 5th. In the 1600 meter, Alyson Skiles placed 3rd. In the 4×100, the girls team took 5th. In the 400 meter, Luke Brabham placed 1st and Carter Whitley placed 3rd. In the 800 meter, Alyson Skiles got 5th, Garrett Hale 1st, and Jaden Kanan 3rd. In the 200 meter, Anita McCaul placed 1st. In the 3200 meter, Celeste Sansegraw placed 2nd, Allison Land 5th, Ezekiel Sisk 2nd, and Alex Smith 5th. In the 4×400, the girls team took 4th and the boys placed 3rd. In the 300 meter hurdles, Anita McCaul placed 1st, Jarren Cross 3rd, and Landon Sprouse 4th.
In the long jump, McKayla Randall placed 2nd and Samyia McCloud placed 3rd. In the high jump, Luke Brabham took 5th. In the triple jump, McKayla Randall placed 3rd, McKenna Randall 5th, and Jaden Kanan 3rd. Throwing events were canceled for this meet.
The next meet will be on Tuesday 4/19 at Potosi.
