The Foreign Language Club is led by Mrs.Crocker and will start after homecoming. To join it students must pay an entry fee of $5 and must be a former foreign language student or currently enrolled in a foreign language class.
Potosi High School started off with a Spanish Club, but over the years the district has added French. A group of students inspired Mrs.Crocker to start the foreign language club.
A junior at PHS, Kensington Davies has said, “I was in Student Ambassador while also being in FLC. It is a very flexible club and I never had to miss a meeting.”
Some activities that will be held are the English American breakfast and the Italian lunch. Activities are usually around specific holidays. While doing these activities students are brought together as a team to have a fun, joyful time.
Mrs. Crocker said her favorite part of getting the club started is “meeting all [the] new kids and seeing their [creative] ideas!”
