The FAFSA Frenzy is an event where students and their parents can come and get assistance with filing their FAFSA application. There will be outside guests from MAC who work in financial aid to provide information and guidance to families. 

If you plan to attend this event here is a list of items you will need.

• FSA ID and password
• copy of 2021 tax returns
• Social Security Numbers
• Birthdates
• Marriage/Divorce/Separation dates
• Current values on investments (excluding home and retirement plans)
• Current cash and checking/saving account balances

It will be on Tuesday, October 18, from 4:00-6:00pm. There be pizza and prizes for those who attend. It will located in the PHS library. 

Filing the FAFSA is what allows students to get financial aid for their schooling. It gives them access to scholarships, grants, loans, etc. If they do not submit their FAFSA, they will be ineligible for any federal financial aid and for many, institutional aid. 

If you would like to apply for FAFSA, apply using https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa, but be sure both student AND parent/guardian each have your own FSA ID and password created to begin.
