Students at Potosi High School are unable to use the library after a flood, causing the floors and other items to be destroyed.
The Potosi High school librarian, Mrs. Christopher said, “We will be replacing the chairs, floors, and eventually the computers.”
Staff has moved undamaged books out of the library and into the hallway by the office for students still in need of something to read. Mrs. Christopher is temporarily using the MAC office to help with students checking out books and borrowing chrome books.
Custodians at the school have been working hard removing the destroyed flooring and fixing any other damaged property. New flooring will be installed soon as well as books being replaced.
There is no set date, but the district administration plans on finishing all construction work soon.
