Teen Outreach Program, better known as TOP, held its first meeting of the school year in room 31. TOP welcomes everyone and anyone to join them.
TOP is a safe environment to speak open-mindedly about things such as personal issues, school issues, or any other sort of question you have. One thing that TOP does that is different from most activities in school is that they do CSL projects, better known as their community service acts.
“This is our safe place to be who you want,” facilitator Tiffany Hawkins said.
Their community service projects throughout the year usually include making blankets for a nursing home, making Christmas cards, and cleaning up trash in the cemetery by school.
“We are completely open-minded to any projects you guys want to do this school year,” Hawkins said.
If you are interested in joining TOP there are forms in the office. They look forward to a fun and exciting year for the school year and wish the same for you.
