PHS college advisor Ms.Gray has been working hard to set up college prep for seniors.
Ms.Gray has scheduled a tour at UMSL on October 9th, there are permission slips in the counselor’s office if you are interested in signing up they are due by the 2nd. In addition to the campus tour she has set up visits from 5 different college representatives that you can go to during trojan time.
September 25th- SEMO
September 26th- MIZZOU
October 13th- MAC
October 24th- Missouri State
November 6th- College of the Ozarks
November 7th- Missouri Western
Something that Gray wanted to stress is that ACT’s are very important and that there will be two available at PHS.
“ACT scores can not only affect admission, but also make a huge difference in scholarships.”
Seniors should sign up for the ACT on October 28th by September 22nd, and sign up for the test on December 9th by November 3rd.
Another thing that she has set up is an “apply M.A.C” event where senior Trojan Time classes will go and apply to MAC in order to gain practice applying to colleges. She also created the “swag station” for any student who is interested in college merchandise, it is in her office and you’re welcome to grab anything off of it when you swing by.
