PHS students are invited to schedule a dentist appointment during the school day on January 11 or 12 through a service called Dental Smiles. In order to take advantage of this opportunity, students need to register by December 7.
The dental smiles is a school dentist that is no charge to the student or school
They help with kids that can’t afford basic hygiene products so they plan to fix that with free care for all students 3-18 years old because one in every seven children are suffering from tooth pain right now they can go to the nurse to sign up. She will have the papers if you want to fill them out.you can also go to www.myschooldentist.com for more information. You can also go to https://bigsmilesdental.org/ for more information about dental smiles.
Dental Smiles wants to fix problems like tooth decay and cavities. They are trying to keep students in school because 1 in every 7 students are suffering from tooth pain right now and miss school because of it when they could be learning something important at school. With over 51 million school hours lost each year we need to stay in school. This is a great opportunity for kids who can’t afford dental services and to get checked out and cared for.
