Potosi baseball boys opened up their season with a jamboree at home on March 11.
Potosi baseball fell to the West County Bulldogs 4-1 and the Farmington Knights 7-2.
The Potosi coaches are wanting to use this jamboree as a practice to get ready for a successful season with their team.
Potosi Baseball assistant coach Dylan Wyrick said, “I am looking forward to a great season this year with this wonderful team. We had a successful season last year and hope that we have a successful season this year. We have put in a lot of work for this season and I think that it will pay off and we will have a great season.”
The boys have prepared so much in the off season and the pre-season to get ready.
Potosi junior Ayden Ricketts said, “I can’t wait to see how the young team develops throughout the season.”
The boys will next play on March 22 against South Iron High School at 4:30.
