From August to December, the PHS band works early in the morning to late at night trying to put together the marching show for this year. Their show this year is titled: “The Battle Within.”
Potosi High School’s marching band show is about battling inner thoughts and coming out on the other side. The band will perform the show all across Missouri and Illinois in marching competitions on Saturdays and at the home football games on Fridays during halftime.
The upcoming events include Sept. 14-Murphysboro, Sept. 21-Sullivan, Sept. 27-Home Football (Fredericktown)Homecoming, and Sept. 28-Fox.
Individuals in the band are looking forward to making this season even better than past seasons as well as bringing home lots of awards. Our songs are composed by Chris Cresswell to go with our show moves. All the music is original pieces.
