Potosi Trojan Marching Band Hosts Its 18th Annual Bi-State Festival

Saturday, October 10, 2020 the Potosi Band Boosters and Potosi Trojan Marching Band will be hosting its 18th Annual Bi-state marching festival. There will be thirteen bands attending this year’s festival. The parade begins at 9 a.m and it starts at Lawrence and High St and will end with a left turn onto Mine St. The show performance will be later in the afternoon after the parade. The parade is free, but there will be an admission fee for the show performance, adults $8.00 and children/seniors (60+) $5.00.

 

The Potosi Trojan Marching Band will not be competing but they will be marching in the parade and performing their field show. The PHS Band director Jordan Simms said, ¨The Field show is set up in sessions of 3 bands, after every session the stands will be cleared for the next session. We have also allotted for more time between the bands. Bands will be asked to leave after they perform and we will do a virtual award ceremony.¨ You can watch the awards ceremony on the Potosi Band Booster Facebook page.

 

The bands that will be going to the Potosi Trojan Marching invitational are listed down below:

Parade–New Haven, Linn, Bourbon, St. Clair, Sullivan and Potosi 

Field Show–Grandview, Hermann, New Madrid, St. Charles West, Sullivan, Union, Cape      Central, Poplar Bluff, Fort Zumwalt West and Potosi.
