On Thursday, October 3, The Lady Trojans traveled to Farmington. The Lady Torjans left with a huge win against the Farmington Knights.
The Lady Trojans played 4 sets, being defeated in the first and coming back for the next three sets winning them all. This leads our volleyball girls to a winning record of 15-3-1.
Last season the Lady Trojans were defeated by the Farmington Knights, this time they had a plan to make a comeback. Every girl put in full effort to make this possible even with some unexpected turns of the night. Senior Ava Robart took an unexpected turn with a fall in the 4th set. After this incident, Sophmore Adalynn Gibson was subbed in and ended the game with an awesome turnout. Adalynn was then named player of the game for her step up in the last half of the game.
Gibson states, ” I was not expecting it at all but I was very excited and surprised since not very many people from Potosi get player of the game. Overall the whole game was very fun and definitely a cool experience.”
The Lady Trojans are pumped for their next game against Deseto. This game will be on October 7 at Desoto High School. These ladies are having an amazing season and are more than ready to see the end of this year. We can not wait to see what else these ladies have in store for us in the upcoming games.
