Ava Robart completes her goal of 1,500 kills against Festus on Sep. 25th. Robart has a record of most career kills at Potosi High School.
Robart said, “ I feel very accomplished and happy that I have family, teammates and coaches that have helped make it possible for me to meet my goals.”
Robart has been a varsity starter the past four years of her career. She achieved 1,000 kills her junior year and hasn’t stopped since. Ava is ranked first in class three for kills with 255 this season so far.
Little sister Eden Robart said, “ I am so proud of Ava and all she has achieved. I am so lucky to have had a good example for what a good athlete and student looks like. I am glad I got the opportunity to have played with her for two years so that she can push me on and off the court. I am looking forward to getting to watch her in college.”
Robart averages 4.7 kills a set, 2.1 digs and 0.4 aces a game.
Ava still has a lot more of her senior season left, Robart is hoping that she will accomplish more and more by the day.
