A group of Potosi High School Seniors and Juniors attended the college fair at MAC on Monday, October 21. These select students had the opportunity to speak with over 50 colleges.
In the midst of this fair, there were many many options. There were universities, community colleges, and tech schools for students to visit and many options to consider. Our students were given a paper of all of the colleges they’re attending. Students choose as many as they want from the list and can talk one-on-one with an adviser.
Senior Stella Bourbon said, ” The college fair was very beneficial. There were at least 40 colleges present and I talked to most of them. As someone who hasn’t decided what I want to do I found it very helpful. I encourage Seniors next year and the years after to attend.”
Our students took this opportunity and it turned out to be a hit! They have now been provided with many options to lead them in many different directions. This fair was very useful for our students and I hope to see many more of these in the future!
