Wyrick is the head coach of the Potosi High School varsity football team. Coach Wyrick works hard every day to prepare his team for their game each week. Wyrick makes a huge impression on not only the football team but the people that come to watch the games on Friday nights.
Wyrick does many things for the varsity and junior varsity football teams during their fall season not only as a coach but as a role model in their life.
Sophomore Zane Richards said, “Coach is a very motivational person during practice, games, and during school, right before every game he gives the team a pre-game hype speech and pushes the team past their limits to make themselves better.”
Sophomore Blayne Maxwell said, “Wyrick has made us more focused and dedicated. He has worked us hard and pushed us to our limits throughout the summer and practices to make us the best football players and young men that we could be. ”
Dylan Wyrick makes sure that he provides the best for his players on and off the field.
Head coach Dylan Wyrick said, “I want to hopefully influence these players to be a better human, holding them accountable in all things, and build them up when they need it.“
Wyrick takes pride in coaching these young men and being a football coach for Potosi High School.
Wyrick said, “I feel honored to get to give back to a football program that gave so much to me when I was in high school.”
Wyrick is not only a role model for his team on the football field but is a great role model, leader, and impact on the team as students.
Junior Clayton Richards said, “He’s made me a more coachable athlete and student making me accountable for the things I do on and off the field as not only a player but also as a student, while also having a good sense of humor.“
Freshman David Miller said, “He has impacted me in a very positive way, he is an amazing coach and teacher. He always lets me know when I’m doing something wrong and corrects me in a positive way without bringing me down.“
Wyrick puts in hard work into teaching, coaching, and impacting every single one of the young men that he sees and coaches almost every day.
