All Shook Up is a musical that our theater department is putting together from Sept. 21 through Sept. 23. The musical is about the worlds of Elvis and Shakespeare colliding. Set in 1950s small-town America, it intertwines Elvis’s hits with the plot of Shakesphere’s Twelfth Night. These spirit days were chosen using Elvis Presley’s popular songs.
Monday: “Jailhouse Rock”(wear stripes)
Tuesday: “C’Mon Everybody”(twin day)
Wednesday: “Follow That Dream”(pajama day)
Thursday: “Blue Suede Shoes”(wear blue)
Friday: “All Shook Up”(mismatch day)
Junior Macy Saunders said, “I’m most excited about the Blue Suede Shoes/Wear Blue Day. I am most excited for this day because that number in the show is one of my favorites.”
