On December 5, the City of Potosi comes together to celebrate Christmas. There will be floats and people walking in the parade to pass out candy, water, toys, and all sorts of other things.
Everyone in the town comes together and enjoys the fun of the Potosi, MO, Christmas parade. There will be police observing the parade and make sure its safe and everything stays under control. Santa Claus is at the end of the parade after all the decorated floats. There will be horses walking with people and people riding horses in the parade. It has been going on for many years now. The parade starts at 6:00 PM.The line up for the floats will start at Red Wing and travels down Main Street ending at the Potosi Police Station.
Belgrade State Bank said that hey will be bringing the Grinch to pass out cotton candy and the workers of Belgrade state bank will be passing out candy and glow sticks and water they are very excited to see everyone.
Sophomore Zane Richards said that He will be riding a horses and passing out candy in the parade.
