Barnwarming is a western prom for FFA students, it will be hosted at Brinley Farms in Belgrade from six to nine on Dec. 13.
Barnwarming is held annually to get three chapters together to have a good time, play games, eat food, and crown the King and Queen.
“Barnwarming is my favorite FFA event of the year. It’s a time when we can all gather around, get together, and have a great time together! It’s even better when we do it with other schools. You meet new people and form special bonds whether it be from the King and Queen competitions, the music and games, or Zane Richards singing karaoke everyone has a great time,” said senior Stella Bourbon.
Barnwarming is a great time that all FFA members should experience. Members play games, eat food, win door prizes, and participate in a scavenger hunt to determine who will be King and Queen.
“I am looking forward to the Potosi FFA chapter getting to hang out with Valley Caledonia and Viburnum FFA chapters at this Barnwarming. Being in FFA, they all already have a lot in common, and am anxious to see how they interact with each other. I can’t wait to experience all the fun that we will have. I also hear Zane Richards can perform some serious karaoke and can’t wait to see that,” said Agriculture teacher and FFA advisor Mrs. Nickelson.
Students can go to Barnwarming only if they get a signed permission slip from their parent/guardian saying they can ride the bus there or with a friend. If you are riding with a friend, your parent/guardian must sign that you are riding with them, and your friend’s parent/guardian must sign saying you are riding with them. All permission slips can be found in Mrs. Nickleson’s room. DUE DATE: Dec 11
