Rhenn Mapes came from Farmington to Potosi. He is playing basketball for the varsity team as a freshman.
Coach Conaway said, “Rhenn is a good basketball player with a lot of potential. He can handle the basketball and is going to get a chance to run the point guard spot for us. He is still learning as a freshman but is progressing well and could give us big minutes this year.”
Rhenn Mapes is a freshman transfer student from Farmington. Rhenn is getting varsity playing time for the Potosi basketball team. Rhenn is slowly working his way up as a freshman. Trying to get playing time the past couple games Rhenn has been getting varsity minutes. Rhenn is a good defender on defense and a good shooter on offense.
Senior EJ Sansegraw said, “Rhenn is a smart player with time to develop his skills on the basketball court. Being a freshman playing varsity is a hard thing to do and he is doing very well to begin the season. Rhenn is a good teammate and friend.”
Rhenn is a 15 year old Freshman who plays point guard for the team. Rhenn was handed a basketball and basketball shoes when he was a little kid. Rhenn has been playing basketball his entire life he has played AAU basketball since he was little. Rhenn has a lot of experience on the basketball court. Rhenn loves playing the game of basketball. Rhenn is a competitive kid that does not like to lose. He does his best on and off the court. Rhenn plays jv as well as varsity. Rhenn comes off the bench for the varsity team.
Freshman Rhenn Mapes said, ”I’m excited that I get a chance to play varsity basketball this year and show my skills and excited to see how the team will improve over time.”
