This Wednesday at Mineral Area College (Mac) they hosted a Potosi night. If you had your school-issued ID you got in for free. The Potosi band played for the whole girl’s game and till half time of the boys’ game.
The Potosi band was grateful to be a guest to Mac. They were amazing host after the halftime of the girl’s game they provided pizza free of cost. When the Potosi band played the Potosi High School fight song, two PHS graduates who are now on the Mac cheer team joined in and did the cheer to go along. Multiple people in the crowd stood up and joined in clapping to go along with the song.
The PHS band will be playing at future basketball games at the Potosi High School. Soon they will have students performing at Solo and Ensemble on March 8.
