Kendrick Lamar and SZA are known for their clever lyrics in the music community. They have many songs featured together including, “All the Stars”, “Luther”, “Toxic Love”, and many more. According to USA TODAY, Lamar will be the first-ever solo rap artist to headline the Super Bowl next Sunday.
After interviewing a student at Potosi High School, she told me her favorite lyrics from the song “All the Stars” by Kendrick and Sza. She liked the lyrics “Or do the feeling haunt you” and “All the stars are closer”. She explained that a lot of the songs that they make are relatable and heartfelt in certain ways. One fan on Twitter said, “I don’t usually watch the Super Bowl, but I’ll absolutely be watching for the Kendrick performance”. This shows that a lot of his fans are excited about him performing this Sunday.
