On Feb. 27, senior Aubree Wilson broke the Potosi High school record for the most three pointers in a game. Wilson made 10 threes during the girls game against Saxony Lutheran. The previous record was held by Carley Hampton, who had 8 in one game in 2021.
Wilson said, ” One of my main goals for my last season of basketball was to break the three point record. I could not have broke this record without the help and encouragement of my teammates and coaches during the game.”
Wilson accumulated over 36 points, 30 of them being 3 point shots that allowed her to break this 4 year old record. Wilson hopes to continue to go far into the post season during districts and help her team to victory.
