Levi Dicus is 17 he is a junior at Potosi High School and he is going to state for wrestling. Levi is an amazing wrestler with a lot of talent and a lot of potential. He has made it to state back to back years.
He lost both years and hopes to go back next year. When asked about how he thought he did, he said “it feels great to go back. I wish I could have won but I’m sure I’ll go back next year.”
He has been doing wrestling since his 7th grade year and he plans on finishing his high school career with wrestling.
Levi loves wrestling but he also does other things like fishing and he loves leather working. Levi has type one diabetes and it sometimes affects him but he keeps doing whatever he is doing. one time Levi wrestled when his blood sugar was going crazy and he felt horrible but he kept wrestling.
Levi’s brother Tucker teased, “He’s not the brightest all of the time but he is a tough kid and doesn’t let anything stop him.” Levi is always trying his hardest in anything he does and I hope I get to see him wrestle next year and hopefully he will finally win state. Levi’s teammates have said that he works hard and he is a great wrestler with so much potential.
