The Potosi R-3 school district announced Bryce Wilson as their 2025-2026 superintendent, effective on July 1, 2025.
Mr. Wilson has been a part of our community his entire life. He has also been very active in our community which makes him fit for serving our students and community. Mr. Wilson’s passion for our students shines through his years of experience including Principal, Curriculum Director, Assistant Superintendent and Associate Superintendent.
Mr. Wilson said, “My number one goal for the year is to keep everyone safe. Wilson’s second goal is to ensure that everyone is having the best experience possible and having fun.” Mr. Wilson also said “He wants to see every student having fun with a smile on their face.” Mr. Wilson also said, “Being a leader makes him take a step back and look at the bigger picture.We have to realize everyone here has the best intentions, it’s how we get there that makes differences and respecting those differences.”
Kannan Wilson said, “My dad is a very supportive person and on the bad days when he doesn’t feel like doing anything he will always be willing to help you.” K. Wilson also said, “My dad will have an excellent effect on our students, staff, and community because he is a very genuine person and has always been a leader.”
Mrs. Cordia said, “Mr. Wilson is always willing to help. He wouldn’t ask someone to do something that he himself wouldn’t do.” Cordia also said “When Mr. Wilson makes decisions he thinks of how it would affect our community. He figures what’s best for everyone. Mr. Wilson will make the hard decisions if that ‘s best for our students. He’s shown her the value of being a good teacher and the lasting impact teachers have on children.”
Since Mr. Wilson has been a lifelong member of our community and a 10 year member in the Potosi R-3 school district; he has always shown leadership qualities while working with students, staff, and the community.
The Potosi R-3 school district is looking forward to seeing how Mr. Wilson is going to impact their schools and community.
