Potosi Department of Social Services will be hosting a parade Saturday April 24 at 10 a.m. to promote Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness. This particular parade will be Potosi’s first annual Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Parade. The event organizers encourage everyone to remember to wear blue in order to support this cause.

The parade will start at the Red Wing Corporation on Casey Farm Rd, then will run through town on S main street, turning at the Sheriff’s Department. Then they will disperse at the high school. 

Potosi High School will have a float with spring sports athletes supporting the cause. After the parade there will be a small event at the town square.
