On October 30, the PHS Cross Country team traveled to Arcadia Valley to participate in the District meet. There were 3 classes, awards were given to the top 30 runners in each class, and plaques were given to the top 4 teams from each district. With a lot of hard work and determination both PHS boys and girls teams are advancing to the state meet. The PHS girls team took 2nd and the boys took 3rd overall. 

Earning all districts for the boys were Zeke Sisk 4th, Andrew Cain 19th, and Garrett Hale 22nd. All districts for the girls were, Celeste Sansegraw 7th, Alyson Skiles 13th, Carlee Moss 14th, Allison Land 16th, Allie Heeter 24th, and Ava Wright 28th. 

PHS and 15 other schools from the meet will be traveling to Columbia on Saturday, November 6 to run the state meet.

Coach Amanda Politte said, “The kids came focused and ready to go. They gave it their all and their hard work and determination paid off. They earned a spot at the state meet with determination and perseverance. I am so proud of them all. They represent Potosi High School well.”
