PHS Semi-Formal

On February 25, PHS will be having a Winter semi-formal dance for all students from 7-10 p.m. in the PHS gymnasium. Admission is $5 at the door and outside guest forms are in the office and will be due by Wednesday, February 23, at 3p.m.

If you have never been to a school dance before here are some tips that may help you enjoy the dance to its fullest.

When getting ready for the dance, always consider that you will be dancing and having a good time. With that being said I suggest wearing something that is comfortable and makes you feel confident. Something to remember when picking out a formal dress is you’re most likely only going to wear it once so sticking with a reasonable budget would be the way to go.

The dance is meant to be a fun and memorable event. So remember to enjoy the moment by going out of your comfort zone and have a good time with your friends. A dance is all about dancing so don’t be shy to put a little boogie in it. If you are dancing and enjoying the social time with friends it will make for a much more memorable event.

One more thing to remember is to take plenty of photos with your friends so you can look back at the photos later in life. The semi-formal dance will not disappoint so if you’re trying to decide whether to go or not I suggest you think about going.

For all the guys going to the dance I would recommend wearing a nice shirt, dress pants or khakis. Even if dancing isn’t your thing you can still enjoy the night by having a good time with your friends and doing the activities around the gymnasium.

The PHS semi-formal will be a great time so give it a chance and come out and have a good time.
