On Tuesday February 1, the boys varsity basketball team put up a good fight with the Ste.Genevieve dragons but came up short with a final score of 52-47.

     The boys put up a tough fight and stayed strong throughout the entire game. Even though they lost they still did their best and played as a team.

        With 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter #1 Gabe Brawley steals the ball at the top of the key for a fast break layup. He then pump fakes and goes up for a layup and the dragons just can’t catch him in time.

        At the half the Trojans have a 6 point lead then sophomore Luke Brabham puts up a last second layup to end the quarter. Junior Zane West gives Luke Brabham a chest bump to head to the locker room with tons of energy and excitement. 

       Even though the boys ended up losing the game, they all played their best and had a good time while playing. 

       The boys varsity team will play their next conference game February 10 against Fredericktown at Mineral Area College.
