This month, senior Levi Courtney and both sophomores Aden Martinez, and Allison Missey worked hard in placing high enough to make state. All three of them have come so far in wrestling and PHS students and faculty are very proud of their hard work. This season Levi Courtney broke the PHS all-time pin record for most pins in a wrestling career, he beat the previous record of 70 pins. This was a big accomplishment because he is one of the only 4 to do it in history. Sophomore Allison Missey placed 2nd in her district tournament and became the first female in Potosi wrestling history to qualify for state. Aden Martinez placed 3rd at the Desoto wrestling tournament January 29th and has had a great wrestling season. Overall the Potosi wrestling team had a great season and lots of memories were made.
