On Wednesday, September 28, at 7:00 am, Potosi High School’s Bible Club and FCA Club hosted “See You at the Pole.” Students and faculty are invited to meet at this annual event around the flagpole to worship together.

The Bible Club and FCA Club invited Pastor Gary Greenlee and Worship Leader Lloyd Peirce to lead worship songs. Then, sophomore Samuel Rhodes led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance, and afterwards, junior Noelle Porter helped connect to the students and staff using God’s word by leading devotion. After devotion, students split into small groups and each had a prayer leader.

Praying in small groups inspired some of the students there. As junior Nicole Fryman said, “To see members of our school share the story of Jesus was amazing. God works in mysterious ways, and I can’t wait to see what he will bless us with throughout this school year.” Fryman also said, “After leaving, my day was so much brighter. It instantly changed my mood and made me feel better about myself and others as well!”

If you are interested in Bible Club, they have meetings every Thursday, 3-4 pm. The FCA Club meets every Thursday morning, 7:15-7:25.
