The Winter Semi-Formal

On January 14, 2023 PHS Student Council will be hosting a Semi-Formal the Saturday after homecoming. Admission will cost $5 per person. The dance will take place from 7-10 p.m.

The theme of the dance will be Met-Gala/Masquerade. Masquerade masks may be worn. Mrs. Sitton, the student council supervisor, will be selling blank white masks for $1. Students will be able to decorate the masks during Trojan Time.

“This is one of the most attended dances because freshmen and sophomores don’t get to attend a formal dance [prom], so we are expecting a lot of people to be there,” Mrs. Sitton said.

There will be drinks and snacks provided for free. Students will be able to request songs with the QR codes that will be hung in the halls.

If students wish to bring an outside guest they must fill out a form. They are available in the office and must be turned in Wednesday, Jan. 11.

“The formal dance is something I look forward to all year long because it’s the only formal dance that everyone gets to attend and I like how many people come and get involved,” Junior Kaelynn Mosier said.
