The Volleyball Lady Trojans pull another win


On September 26, the Potosi Trojans played at home against the Fredericktown Blackcats. Potosi took the win in five sets.

Junior Ava Robart ended the game with 32 kills, followed by freshman Eden Robart who had 18 kills. Senior Paige West had 23 digs and junior libero Tayler Rayfield had 21 digs.

With this being West’s last volleyball season in high school she said, “I feel sad, but I’m ready to see what the future holds for me.”

Set 2: 25-20 (Potosi)
Set 3: 25-27 (Potosi)
Set 4: 25-22 (Fredericktown)
Set 5: 10-15 (Potosi)
Set 1: 25-16 (Potosi)
Set 2: 25-15 (Potosi)

Looking back on the game last night Coach Ashley Matthews said, “I am happy with the outcome because we won! I also think there is room for improvement. We still have things we need to work on in order to be successful over the next few weeks.”

The Lady Trojans next game is Thursday, 8/28 at home against the Farmington Knights.
