Junior Macy Saunders plays main character Natalie in Potosi High School’s “All Shook Up” musical on November 21 through November 23. The musical is about a leather jacketed stranger who shakes up a small town.
Macy has been in theater for 4 years. She has played many different roles and main characters including Snoopy in PHS’s 2023 musical “The World According to Snoopy.”
Theater director Mr. Dement said, “Natalie is a character who is searching for true love and thinks that by changing herself she can make a guy love her, but she finds that loving herself is the best thing to do.”
“Natalie is a mechanic in a very small town who falls in love with a guy who doesn’t have her best interest in mind. She decides to take action with this by disguising herself. As for playing Natalie, this has been such a fun show. My character is so fun and dynamic and she’s really challenged me as a performer,” said Macy.
The musical will be on November 21 through November 22 at 7:00 p.m, and on November 23, at 3:00 p.m.
