The Potosi High School Girls Tennis team took part in the Individual District Tennis tournament on October 3  at the Crystal City Park.  To get the opportunity to compete in the state tournament and move on, you have to place first or second in the district tournament.  Despite the outcome of the tournament there were many players who placed. Senior Sarah Hornsey and Senior Emma Hoffman  finished fourth place in doubles. Senior Molly Hamby finished fourth place in singles.  Junior Michelle Whitaker finished third in singles narrowly missing the cut to go to that state tournament to compete for the second year in a row. Team Districts will begin October 5 at Lutheran South High School.  This will be single elimination tournament.
