In the summer of 2023, a new gym floor was in production here at Potosi High School. Missouri Floor Company were the ones to make this a reality.
The floor was completed on July 28, 2023. The gym floor was not entirely redone. The top layer was sanded, painted, and waxed, with a brand new design. New rules will apply, such as no boots, high heels, or other rough shoes on the floor, only tennis shoes are allowed. Volleyball and basketball will still be able to play and practice, including regular PE classes.
Potosi’s Athletic Director Steven McCoy, said, “The new gym floor came out very nice. The design was updated. The student body will be very excited.”
This gym floor will make sure to help shine Trojan Pride for many years to come, along with new changes to our building.
