On Monday Nov. 17 through Friday the 21st, the PHS Student Ambassadors will be coming around every day in fourth hour to collect canned goods, unused clothing, and/or any unopened toys. These food items and clothing will be divided and delivered to multiple churches in the community.
Any non-perishable food items such as canned soups and beans, dried goods, and uncooked pasta, are all examples of non-perishables. Clothing items like socks, undergarments, baby clothes, sweatshirts and winter coats would be great for people in need of thick clothes for the winter months.
Each one of the items collected from the fourth hour class will count as one point. These will be counted and collected each day up until the 21st. The fourth hour class with the most goods and clothing counted, will be rewarded with a party of their choice. The winning class will be announced towards the end of the day Friday.
Remember, even donating something small can help someone in need!
