The Potosi Band is going to Disney next summer in 2024. The Potosi band has the opportunity to go to Disney next summer to march in a non-competitive parade. The band has worked so hard to make this happen. They will have the chance to visit the park and ride all kinds of rides they have. This will give the students a chance to have fun.
Freshman Bryton Compton said, “I’m so excited for this being my first big trip for band and I can’t wait for many more to come.”
The band is getting ready by doing all the fundraisers for this trip.
Junior Cortine Wade said, “This is our most popular fundraiser. I hope we will raise a lot of money for the trip since this is gonna be my last big trip before becoming a senior.”
The kinds of cookies that will be sold this year are Sugar cookies, Snicker Doddle, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Chocolate Chunk, and Oatmeal Raisin. The Cookie dough makes 48 cookies and they brought the prices down to 20 dollars tub this year.
To buy the cookies see any band kid. They will have a paper and order it. This fundraiser will end November 13 the delivery date is attended to be December 12.
