Kallie Barker has officially signed with Missouri Valley for dance. She has been dancing for ten years and teaching for three.
Kallie has been a pommie all four years in high school, holding the captain spot during her last two seasons. Her favorite memory from dancing was in 2014, when she won first place in her first-ever dance competition, which was held at the Stiefel Theater. This was a big moment for Kallie because she was only six years old.
When asked, what does dance mean to you? Kallie replied, “Dance is an art form that shows physical creativity through personality. I think to create a beautiful dance, you have to connect with a song and relate to the story behind it.”
