A dominant third-quarter push cut the lead to 40–37, setting the stage for a final period where Potosi outscored Bayless 20–13 to secure the Class 4 District 2 title with a 57–53 victory.
Sophomore Rhenn Mapes exploded for a game-high 22 points to spark the offense in the clutch.
